Congratulations to the players chosen for this years 2014 Northern Swords 13s Squad Selection. Coaching staff and training schedules will be communicated at a later date. Any enquiries should come to Rugby League Northland – 09 437 9640.
A selection of this squad will be attending the 2014 RuLA School Boy International Rugby League WERO in Mt Maunganui.
The chosen Swords 13s to travel will probably depart on Wednesday 9th and return on Saturday 12th – but this will be finalised in later communications from Coach and Manager.

A big weekend of Rugby League for the Northern Swords Premiers this weekend as the Swords take on the Mid Central Vipers. Coach Jon Renes has compiled a solid team that will push the Vipers all the way. Congratulations to Israel Tahere and Te Tuhi Tipene named as co-captains. This is the 3rd season they will both represent. The team is a great mix of experience and youth with 8 debutants.
Congratulations to players making their senior Swords debut enjoy the moment – this is the NZRL National Premiership: Tamati Leach, Kawana Marsden, Brodee Palmer, Eli George, Herewini McGregor, Stevie Ray Haenga-Albert, Hoani Tahana, Pana Matiu.
To all the brothers that didn’t make the team this weekend, hard luck, that is team sport, your brothers will need you throughout the season, support them to the end, but put pressure on them by being good team men!
