It is with great pleasure that we congratulate Edward Irving, the Northern Swords Premiers’ Manager, for winning this month’s NZRL Pirtek Volunteer of the Month Award.
Ed has been integral to the Swords Premiers this season. His commitment to all of the Swords Reps (including the 14s, 15s and 17s), has exceeded beyond the day to day Team Manager requirements.
Ed juggles his full time job, his family and his own personal commitments to still put in several hours a week, ensuring our Senior players have all the positive help and support that they need. It is a pleasure for Rugby League Northland to work with Ed.
There is no doubt that there are many Coaches, Managers, Trainers, Volunteers and parent support out there doing the same for their players, their teams and their children and we wish to acknowledge and thank them for all their hard work this year.
