ONLY current Rugby League Northland Club Registered Players may attend
15s Age Grades – Born in 2000, 2001 or 2002
17s Age Grades – Born in 1998 or 1999

Coaches and Clubs you need to nominate your players to

It is expected that each club will nominate between 4 – 6 players.

ALL PLAYERS WILL BE EXPECTED TO BRING
Boots, Socks, Shorts, Water Bottles and Mouthguards! Lunch will be provided.

Players will be divided into a North and South zone – North being Otaua and Muriwhenua, South being Whangarei and Northern Wairoa. Coaches will be appointed to the teams on the day. Trials will be finished at 1:00pm

Players attending this trial MUST BE AVAILABLE ON THE FOLLOWING DATES:

Training Camp – Monday 6^th, Tuesday 7^th July
Based between Ngunguru and Whangarei, staying overnight at a Marae. Specialised coaches from NZRL and the NZ Warriors will be in attendance. The cost towards this training camp will be $20.00.

Rotorua competition – 15^th, 16^th, 17^th July
Players will travel on the 15^th and play on the 16^th and 17^th, travelling home after their last game on the 17^th. The contribution per player towards the cost of this trip will be approximately $100.00.

Northern Swords – September CalendarNorthern Swords – September Calendar

September 12th – Moerewa

September 12th 2:30pm at Moerewa will see the Northern Swords play against an Auckland Vulcans selection. This is a non-competition game – so it will be an opportunity for Coach, Jon Renes, the ability to try out different combinations.

September 19th – Central Rugby Ground, Kaikohe

On September 19th get back to Central Rugby Ground, Lindvart Park, to be part of a festival of Rugby League with the Northern Swords taking on the Orcas at 12pm – surrounding the day will also be the first bi-annual Barney Wharerau Memorial Nines Tournament.
