Rugby League Northland would like to acknowledge the support of David Grindle and WRMK Lawyers, who will be providing expertise for the RLN Judiciary.

David graduated from Waikato University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Laws and in 2011 he graduated from Auckland University with a Masters in Commercial Law.

David works in WRMK’s dispute resolution team dealing with a wide range of legal problems. He also heads the employment law team and has a particular interest in construction law, maritime law and general civil litigation. David has a refined ability to resolve his clients’ legal problems and invites you to contact him.

Outside of work David is a member of the Parua Bay School Board of Trustees and plays rugby for the mighty Mount Manaia Golden Oldies.

Rugby League Northland is committed to fair play and a playing environment that is safe and fun to participate in.  As part of this process RLN has formed an independent judicial committee that is delegated to oversee and rule on judicial matters such as players discipline and rulings regarding the rules and regulations of competitions.

RLN is seeking people to join their judicial panel for the 2015 season.  The panel is Chaired by independent Queens Counsel and you will join a team of up to 5 members.

If interested you will need to be available on Thursday evenings.  On average you may be required once a month.

You will have had past representative playing history OR have been involved as an administrator in Rugby League.  Please note that this is a voluntary role.
